Project - new construction of a 300,000 square foot logistics facility.
The LEED Platinum GLP Misato III is a state of the art logistics facility located in the Saitama Prefecture of Greater Tokyo, Japan. Comprised of more than 300,000 square feet, the 5-story warehouse design effectively utilized site space by including two loading ramps, allowing service vehicles to drive up to each floor. A comfortable work environment is paired with numerous practical site amenities, including backup generators, emergency sewage systems, showers and a cafeteria. For additional safety the property has seismic isolators that absorb 75% of all shock caused by earthquakes. The strategic international alliance of Collaborative Project Consulting, Quest Energy Group, and Woonerf, Inc. in Tokyo provided comprehensive sustainability consulting, energy analysis and LEED project management services. High performance lighting, high efficiency VRF units, and an 80kW PV system all helped to achieve a 48% savings over ASHRAE 90.1-2007 baseline.

Project - new construction of a research facility.
This groundbreaking near net-zero research facility in Yokohama, Japan achieved LEED Platinum certification with LEED, design, and energy consulting guidance from the strategic international alliance of Collaborative Project Consulting, Quest Energy Group, and Woonerf, Inc. in Tokyo. This project demonstrated an impressive 98% energy savings over the ASHRAE 90.1-2007 baseline while demonstrating numerous advanced technologies, including high efficiency LED lighting/control systems, demand control ventilation, high efficiency VRF units, a 63kW PV system, and constant fuel cell technology. Energy efficient systems design is complemented by integrative architectural elements including daylighting and natural ventilation strategies to maximize resource efficiency, systems controllability and thermal comfort for 100% of workstations.

Kyoto University Center of Innovation - Kyoto, Japan

Project - new construction of a state of the art academic research facility
The Kyoto University Center of Innovation in Kyoto, Japan is a 120,000 square foot five-story academic facility that includes offices, labs and collaboration spaces where advanced research is conducted. The project achieved LEED Gold Certification by incorporating advanced HVAC and lighting solutions that resulted in energy efficiency calculated at more than 30% better than baseline ASHRAE requirements. The project also reduced potable water used for sewage conveyance by nearly 100% using a balanced system of cisterned rainwater with high efficiency fixtures. Woonerf Inc., Quest Energy Group and Collaborative Project Consulting worked together to provide turnkey LEED/Energy/Systems consulting to this sophisticated client and builder.

Goodman Sakai Building - Japan

Project - new construction of a 150,000 square foot logistics & distribution facility.
Drawing on the collective expertise of the strategic international alliance of Collaborative Project Consulting, Quest Energy Group, and Woonerf, Inc. in Tokyo, the newly constructed Goodman Sakai project achieved LEED-Gold certification.
This 4-story, ramp accessible logistics and distribution facility with more than 150,000 square feet of net leasable area includes numerous advanced technologies, such as high efficiency VRF HVAC systems, high efficiency LED lighting, and a 160kW PV system resulting in a 26% savings over the ASHRAE 90.1-2007 baseline.
